Capture the Power. Make history on the POH. POH is an open network of history buffs and Catskills aficionados. Our intuitive platform pulls together writers, journalists and our own editorial staff to provide historically intersecting articles on Catskills history. Together, we foster and promote the arts, attractions, recreation, weekender community, local residents and traveling audience, to inspire folks to visit our great historical attractions, landscapes and towns and everything in between.
Since POH only recently kicked off in the spring of 2010, we will be working hard to capture the local and weekend communities in the Catskills and the agri-cultural and history seeking traveler.
Partner with us. We integrate our partners’ messages via ad units on our website and through custom-sized ad units on our email newsletters. Video and rich media units will be available on the website in the near future. We also offer more expansive options, such as branded giveaways, custom campaign design, and historic or cultural partner content development.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is POH sold?
POH is sold individually or as a package. Advertising partners can buy individual website (homepage placement or across the entire website), or as a package, running their creative on both the email magazines and the website. All campaigns are 100% SOV, with no more than six advertisers rotating within a particular site.
Who is POH’s audience?
POH reaches a northeast US audience largely between the ages of 34 and 64. Most live in major US markets, and are the avid readers and consumers of the region’s cultural offerings.
Do you offer dedicated emails?
Yes! POH loves to team up with sponsors to create History Highlights, a short email we send out to tell our subscribers about new articles, events, and promotions from our attractions, historical societies, and advertisers.
Can I pay to have my advertiser-branded article listed on POH?
Sorry. POH does not accept money for editorial placement outside of our historic and cultural partners, but you’re welcome to submit your article to our editors. If you want to reach our audience, consider sponsoring an edition of History Highlights.
